How to clean white canvas shoes

How to clean white canvas shoes

We all have these shoes that take us everywhere, and those Converse were those shoes for me. From baseball games to weekend farmers' markets, they go miles and miles of heat, sun, puddles, snow, mud, etc. Damn, they were even a few times too often in the grip of my dogs. I think the funniest thing about them is the fact that last year I tried to give them that "lived" look. I spent a lot of time and energy jumping into mud puddles to get those spots! Am I crazy about it?

1) First moisten the Mr. Clean Magic eraser in warm water and then gently wring it out (you do not want to tear it!). At this point, you can also remove the laces and set aside.
2) Once that's done, we start scrubbing! Begin by scrubbing the soles of the shoe (the rubber part).
I suggest starting at the smooth parts of the sole and then going into the rougher parts of the rubber, but do not be afraid to get in there and scrub yourself!
3) Here we do not scrub the canvas and shoelaces as the eraser slowly tears, but in most cases this is still required. I suggest scrubbing only the big, dark spots with the eraser. Do not worry, if they do not come out completely, the washing machine will take care of the most! In addition, you can always get back in and scrub again with the eraser.
4) Let's get Suds-y! Now it's time to turn on the washing machine and give these shoes a ride! Turn the water to the HOTTEST setting for the default time setting (we've removed most of the stains with the eraser first, so they will not become permanent due to the hot setting!). I ask you, do not use BLEACH. BLEACH IS THE DEVIL. Okay, a bit over the top, but seriously, DO NOT USE IT.
5) Pour the detergent, shoes and laces and tear the letter!
6) Make your nails, because it will probably take a few more minutes - try this beautiful Essie nail color here, I love it for the summer!
7) When the washing machine is running, put the shoes and laces in the sun until they are dry.
8) Lace up your shoes and show them off! They worked to make these puppies shine! Do not be afraid to give them a spin. After all, you now know how to make them look new if they ever get dirty again!
First, remove the laces and let them soak separately in some water with soap or bleach.
Rinse the shoes under cold water. You can drop them in a bucket of water.
Mix soda and vinegar in a 2: 3 ratio and prepare a frothy mixture (do not use metal utensils). You can take a tablespoon of vinegar, baking soda, and hot water to prepare a pasty mixture to clean your shoes.
Apply the mixture to the canvas shoes and brush each centimeter carefully with a toothbrush.
Rinse with cold water.
Put your canvas shoes in the washing machine, add some bleach and rinse again in cold water.
Dry them in the fresh air, not in the sun.
